Quick Answers

Before You Ride In

Do I need an account to play the Outpost?

Yes. The Outpost requires a free account. Sign in to keep your packs, Ore, decks, and cosmetics saved and to join ranked multiplayer. For play without signing in, try the free Showdown demo.

What do I need to run it?

Any modern browser with WebGL2: recent Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge — on desktop, tablet, or mobile. First load fetches about 90 MB; after that your browser caches it. Landscape orientation recommended.

Is my collection the same on Steam?

Yes — the Outpost is the same Godot client in your browser and on Steam, where it is free to play in Early Access on Windows and macOS. Sign in with the same account and your collection, Ore, and progress follow you across both. iOS and Android builds are still in development.

How is this different from the free demo?

The Showdown demo is a self-contained AI duel with no account. The Outpost adds persistent progress, booster packs, deck building, cosmetics, and online matchmaking.
