Quick Answers

Before You Draw

Is Goblins & Gunslingers really free to play in the browser?

Yes. The Showdown client beta is completely free — no account and no install. It streams an 80 MB build into your browser on the first visit and caches it, so every visit after that starts in seconds.

What do I need to run the game?

Any modern browser with WebGL2: recent Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge — on desktop, tablet, or mobile. First load fetches about 65 MB; after that your browser caches it. Landscape orientation recommended.

How is this different from the account version of the game?

This is the self-contained AI demo. The account-enabled Godot edition adds persistent progress, booster packs, deck building, and online matchmaking.

Will the Showdown client come to Steam and mobile app stores?

Yes — the same Godot client powering this page is being packaged for Steam, iOS, and Android. Follow the roadmap to watch it ride.
